About Revelations Training

Revelations Training was started in 2005, by Michael Chriswell.  After visiting thousands of businesses and achieving "road warrior" status as a sales trainer,  Michael made a frustrating discovery about the training and seminar industry. Business owners and managers all over the country were asking Michael the same question. "How do we make the training stick this time?" They were sick of the "one day" shot in the arm approach to training that left their team crashing on their office floors and going right back to the old ways, just days later.

Michael concluded that as an industry, most training organizations knew their own material well and were brilliant at making themselves look smart, yet they seemed to be inept when it came to actually helping the students or attendees to learn and retain the material being taught. This was the first spark that would eventually turn into a full blown fire of commitment to find a solution.  The second spark came would come in an unlikely, but humorous way. 

What started out as a joke, from one of his clients, turned out to be the second spark of inspiration, that Michael needed to move forward on finding a solution to the marketplace problem, he had witnessed.  In 2004, he had been conducting some sales and motivational training for a Home Improvement company out of Atlanta, GA and they began flying him between their five nationwide offices.  The road time began to take a toll on him and his growing family.  They made the decision to try and hire Michael and have him to move to Atlanta to be their full time trainer.  He respectfully declined, to which they began joking about how they could “clone Chriswell”.  They just kept joking about how neat it would be if they could have one of Michael at each of their offices at the same time.

That joke inspired Michael to begin searching for a solution and he told them that he was going to come to work for them, but that it was going to be a in a slightly different way, than they expected.  Shortly after that time, Michael was introduced to an online training company in the automotive industry, by another one of his clients.  After seeing the possibilities of "cloning" himself through online training, he spent several months contracting his services to that company.  It was during this time that he saw first hand, the potential and the drawbacks of online training. 

In December of 2004, Michael went and sat on a beach in the Bahamas to do some serious thinking and planning about his career and the online training concept.  Upon, returning from that trip, Michael decided to create an online training solution that was exciting, innovative, affordable, easy to implement and use and most importantly, effective. Revelations Training was born.

In 2006, Revelations Training became a client of the University of Central Florida's Business Incubation program.  The company began growing at 300% per year, and over the course of almost 3 years, hundreds of thousands of dollars were invested in the technology, and hundreds of hours were invested in becoming online video training production experts. 

The Revelations system, combined with their proprietary training video production, became so valuable that it eventually even attracted a few blue chip size companies, so they could train their thousands of associates.

Today, Revelations training enjoys working with, small to medium sized businesses that value high quality training and could appreciate the impact and accountability that comes with having their own online training system.  We're interested in speaking with any company that could benefit from saving time, money and frustration, that often result from attempting to implement and sustain and effective employee training program.  Additionally, we'd like to work more closely with churches, ministries and non-profits that could benefit tremendously by increasing the reach and the impact of their training and teaching, through the Revelations Training System.
